By reducing the number of lamp ends (lumen loss) more light per foot is achieved without unsightly center raceway shadows and with reduced labor and material costs: fewer ballasts, fewer sockets and much less wiring. Use EGL Big Boy™ as you would any other straight high-output lamp. All sign ballast makers supply ballasts that carry upto four lamps, 9, 9-3/4, or 10 ft.
